School Holiday Clinic – Tuesday, 7 April 2026

Northern District Hockey Club, in partnership with Hockey NSW (providing accredited coaches), is pleased to offer a School Holiday Clinic for our junior players aged 5 to 14 on Tuesday, 7 April 2026.

The clinic will run for two hours, commencing at 9:00am. Players are asked to arrive by 8:30am to allow time for preparation and registration. Please bring your own drinks, snacks, mouth guard, shin pads and hockey stick. We have limited hockey sticks available for loan. A free burger will be given to every participant after the sessions completion.

Session Structure
  • 9:00 – 10:00am: Training‑style session delivered by the coaches
  • 10:00 – 10:10am: Own drink/snack break
  • 10:10 – 11:00am: Game‑based activities
  • 11:00 – 11:10am: Debrief, "free burger", own drink/snack break, end of session for jnrs
  • 11:10 – 11:55am: Debrief, feedback NDHC coaches (Coaches only)
Expected Outcomes

By the end of the clinic, participants can expect:

  • Improved core hockey skills, including ball control, passing, and decision‑making
  • Increased confidence and game awareness through structured, game‑based learning
  • Exposure to Hockey NSW coaching methodologies and best‑practice training environments
  • A fun and inclusive environment focused on participation, development, and enjoyment
Facilities & Cost

All club amenities will be available throughout the day, including access to toilets, common areas, and the canteen.

The clinic is offered at excellent value at $33 per child. Registrations are now open and close 9pm on 5 April 2026. Places are limited and expected to sell out quickly, so early registration is strongly encouraged to avoid missing out.

Following the on‑field session, there will be a 45‑minute debrief and feedback session from 11:00am for NDHC coaches, facilitated by the Hockey NSW coaches. This session will focus on learnings, observations, and development opportunities.

We look forward to a great morning of skill development and fun for our juniors.
