Disappointed every time you hear your child say "I wish my friend could play hockey with me"?
We are trying something new to promote hockey and to provide extra skill training for our junior players.
We have teamed up with OzSports to run a Hook in2 Hockey programme over 4 consecutive nights in the 2nd last week of school term:
Venue: Pennant Hills Park Hockey Field, Britannia Street, Pennant Hills
Dates: Monday 13th–Thursday 16th September 2010
Time: 5:30pm to 7pm
Participants will receive small group coaching co-ordinated by head coach Ivan Boulton. Ivan is one of Australia’s highest qualified coaches with FIH Grade One accreditation, having previous experience coaching South African teams at the Commonwealth Games (Manchester 2002) and the NSW Men’s hockey team (2006-2008).
- New players can sign up for $55 and will receive 5hrs coaching and a playing pack consisting of a stick, shin guards, minkey hockey ball and stick bag
- Players who have their own stick and shin guards can sign up for $35 for 5 hrs coaching
[Note: all players must provide & wear their own mouthguard]
This will be run the week prior to the presentation day, at which time we will have a special offer for registration to play the 2011 season at the 2010 price! So your child's friend will have a stick and shin guards, some skills and an introduction to hockey in time to consider hockey as an option for weekend sport in 2011, or even as soon as 4th term as part of our midweek Summer Hockey competition!
